As part of organizational development, Webuild is seeking a MEP Design Manager for its international projects, with an operational on-site assignment. Role Reporting hierarchically to the Technical Management of the contract and functionally to the HO Engineering department, you will be responsible for the management and coordination of mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) systems within complex construction projects in both the civil (Building Sector) and infrastructure sectors, such as hospitals, airports, railways, underground systems, museums, universities, roads and motorways, etc. Main responsibilitiesTechnical management of the MEP phases of the contract, including supervision and control of time, cost and quality compliance; Coordination with project management: sharing critical issues and solutions during the project phases; Document control: verification of the completeness and quality of technical documentation; Review and approval of technical documentation: technical verification of plant designs and related certification; Project coordination: ensuring that MEP disciplines are integrated with each other and with civil, structural and architectural works (architectural finishes); Preparation of documentation in support of requests for quotations or contracts relating to subcontracts or purchases of MEP components; Active participation in the selection of subcontractors for engineering and construction services.
