For our Italian Branch located in Caponago (MB) we are seeking a committed and proactive:Application EngineerThe position is part of System Division with the objective to support Sales department during the complete bidding phase.The main tasks will be:Prepare complete costing and technical proposalsReview customer specifications and prepare request for quotation for the auxiliariesInterface with all Burckhardt departments to prepare the required documentation for firm quotations such as ITP, P&ID, and GAInterface with procurement and plant sizing department for the costing of critical itemsProvide support to the regional procurement team to find new suppliers in the assigned region and give inputs to update the Burckhardt Global Vendor ListContribute to the development of the standard regional costs for Auxiliaries items and support implementation in the standard toolsEnsure fast project handover to the contracting team upon project closure on assigned projectsCandidate Profile:Master's or Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering, or similar educationExperience in skid building businessExperience in reviewing and commenting on high-demand EPC specs (Shell DEP, Exxon, etc.)Experience on Auxiliary costs (Market Benchmark)At least 2 years' experience as project manager or project engineer, or at least 3 additional years in other similar roles (Project Manager / Application Engineer)Very good English knowledge, fluent in spoken and writtenWe are looking for:Strongly target-oriented and committedEnthusiastic person who can motivate and win others in the teamProven customer orientation/satisfaction track record including willingness to go the last mile to achieve thisWell-structured work approach with the ability to set prioritiesResponsive, reliable, and diligentFlexible and open-mindedGood team player who is willing to work with/support sales peopleWe offer:Structured induction processFlexible and hybrid working conditionsVersatile and autonomous activities and tasksWorking environment with professional development opportunitiesParticipation in job-related training and further educationAppreciative cooperation with a family-like corporate cultureDemonstrated lived values that value diversityDynamic, international environment with committed employeesWe look forward to receiving your complete application documents.
