Mechanical Designer

Mechanical Designer - Danieli Centro TubeFounded in 1914, Danieli is a world leader in the construction of plants and machines for the steel industry. The company has over twenty‑five divisions and is renowned for innovation, team spirit, excellence and reliability.We are currently looking for a Mechanical Designer to reinforce our team within the Danieli Centro Tube area, specialized in the design and implementation of complex plants for seamless and welded tube mills.Workplace: Cinisello Balsamo (MI) – 100% On‑siteResponsibilitiesSupport in the pre‑sales phase and development of innovative solutions.Read and interpret technical specifications, reference documentation, company and international standards.Size and design machines and plants for the steel industry.Select and size gearboxes, actuators, bearings, seals, and other commercial components.Define construction materials.Create detailed drawings, define tolerances, fits, materials, and finishes.Prepare and update BOMs according to company standards.Coordinate internal and external design activities, and provide technical support during commissioning and testing.Provide technical oversight of purchasing and support the production team.Technical RequirementsIn-depth knowledge and use of Inventor 3D and AutoCAD 2D, as well as the Office suite.3–5 years of experience in mechanical design.Background in the steel industry or similar sectors.Good command of both Italian and English.Availability for occasional short business trips.Soft SkillsAnalytical and methodical approach.Passion for innovation.Ability to work in a team.Excellent organizational skills.What do we offer?Integration into a solid and international industrial context.Complex and challenging projects with high technological content.Professional growth opportunities and continuous training.Flexible and cooperative work environment.Seniority levelMid‑Senior levelEmployment typeFull‑timeIndustriesIndustrial Machinery ManufacturingReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Danieli Group by 2x.#J-18808-Ljbffr
