Prysmian is a public company listed on the Italian Stock Exchange, with almost 150 years of experience, over 33,000 employees, 104 plants, and 27 R&D centers in more than 50 countries.Electrical Testing EngineerWe are looking for an Electrical Testing Engineer to join the HQ R&D team in Milan, reporting directly to the R&D Electrical Laboratories Manager.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and coordinate the tests on EHV cable systems to assess their capability to withstand electrothermal stresses.Oversee the correct planning, preparation and execution of the electrical qualification tests carried in the R&D HQ Laboratory.Perform homologation and R&D tests on EHV cable systems in the HQ Lab.Supervise and coordinate accessory installation.Coordinate laboratory operators involved in installation and testing.Define the scheduling of the tests and lead related projects, keeping continuous interface and relationship with clients, inspectors, and suppliers, according to seniority/expertise.Key QualificationsA master’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Energy or Mechatronic.Fluency in English and Italian.Flexibility, adaptability, and problem‑solving skills.Willingness to travel (also abroad).Strong communication & interpersonal skills.Decision‑making attitude, critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.Strong teamwork skills, results‑oriented and ambitious mindset.BenefitsPermanent contract.Hybrid working model (4 days per month).Flexible working hours.Ticket restaurants (9 eur per day).Health insurance.Company support on public transportation.Annual bonus and share‑based plans.Collaborative environment.Dynamic and respectful workplace.Selection ProcessApplication.HR interview.Hiring Manager interviews.Online assessment (30 min).Prysmian, as an Equal Opportunity Employer, aims to attract and recruit individuals with diverse backgrounds, skills, and abilities.
