Key Job ResponsibilitiesPerform server rack installations, hardware break‑fix on various components, troubleshoot network issues, and respond to operational incidents that impact service availability, escalating to senior technicians and management as needed.Serve as the primary contact point for both internal and external stakeholders, including engineers, software developers, vendors, and contractors.Perform on‑call duties and participate in scheduled maintenance and change management activities.Contribute to documentation and process improvement initiatives based on your analysis of operational issues.Help to train and onboard new team members.Physical RequirementsRegularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; participate in group lifts for 41+ pounds.Work in an environment that operates 24/7, participating in primary responder rotation and providing after‑hours support as needed.Work in cramped and/or elevated and/or noisy environments.Bending, lifting, stretching, reaching, standing, and walking for up to 8+ hours a day.Ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and gangways safely and without limitation.Basic Qualifications1+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.1+ years of computer networking experience.High school or equivalent diploma.Preferred QualificationsExperience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure.Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. The base pay for this position ranges from $50,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $113,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
