Listed on the Milan Stock Exchange, it is present in more than 50 countries around the world and employs about 30,000 people of over 130 nationalities.As Senior Cloud and Microsoft 365 Solution Architect, you will respond to the IT Infrastructure Manager and be part of the IT Function within the Systems and Cybersecurity Operations Department. You will support a Team of 7 resources.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement centralized cloud governance strategies and policies.Manage cloud provider environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.Monitor and optimize cloud costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings.Oversee the adoption of cloud frameworks and technologies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.Provide technical consulting support to application architects to ensure alignment with overall design principles.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cloud solutions.Govern and manage the cloud environment following Saipem’s ITIL processes.Oversee implementation of Microsoft 365 security features (e.g., Defender, Purview) and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.Govern the adoption and performance of collaboration tools like Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange Online, monitoring service performance and user satisfaction.Supervise integration of Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps) and align data governance and reporting strategies with enterprise goals.Oversee the strategic adoption and responsible use of Microsoft Copilot across the organization, ensuring alignment with productivity goals, compliance standards, and user enablement initiatives.What we are looking forEducation: Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or technical disciplinesExperience: 5-10 yearsLanguages: English (B2-C1)Technical Skills: Knowledge of cloud strategy, cloud adoption and workload migration; governance of Cloud services; solutions, architectures and technologies in server, storage, backup, networking, security, virtualization and major OS and DBMS versions (SQL, NoSQL); basic DevOps skills; deep understanding of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, security/compliance tools); ability to create dashboards, reports and documentation for executive visibility; knowledge of ITIL and Project Management concepts; in-depth knowledge of governance for major cloud providers (MS Azure, AWS, GCP).What Can We Offer To YouPermanent Contract.Corporate Benefits: health insurance, gym, discounts and partnerships, services related to health, family, well-being, and in-house cafeteria.Hybrid working model: Smart Working options and flexible hours.Our One Saipem Way soft skills model for skills development, career growth and collaboration to achieve goals.Location: MilanoAdditional InformationWe support your development If you feel you might not fit this role perfectly, you can still contribute to our business development in the future by applying through our spontaneous application form.We embrace diversity Our culture is built on mutual respect, collaboration, inclusion and the belief that our differences drive our progress.Safety and Sustainability matter to us We focus on health and safety and the preservation of the natural ecosystem, even in difficult or extreme situations.Find out more on our career page here.
