Within the Data, AI & Automation function we are looking for a talented and proactive resource to join the team. The mission is to capture value at Group level through Data, AI, and Automation by identifying opportunities, driving key projects, creating shared technology assets, and measuring maturity growth across Business Units.Building on this foundation, the Insights Factory emerges as a dedicated capability to transform raw data into actionable insights. Leveraging the Group Central Data Platform, it enables scalable, secure, and compliant data processing while providing advanced analytics and visualization tools. This centralized approach ensures consistency, accelerates insight generation at scale, and empowers business units with predictive and prescriptive analytics to support strategic decisions and deliver significant value.Key responsibilities of the role will include:Data Collection & Management:Gather, clean, and validate data from multiple sources (internal systems, external datasets, APIs)Ensure data integrity and compliance with governance standardsAnalysis & Insight Generation:Perform exploratory and advanced statistical analyses to uncover trends and correlationsDevelop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights effectivelyTranslate complex data findings into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholdersCollaboration & Business Support:Work closely with business units (P&C, LP&A, Operations, Procurement, Marketing, Sales & Distribution) to understand requirements and deliver tailored insightsPartner with Data Engineers and Data Scientists to optimize data pipelines and modelsIdentify opportunities to automate reporting and improve analytical processes leveraging GenAI.Stay updated on industry best practices, tools, and technologies.Generating Value:Identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities for Data Insights across the GroupTranslate insights into tangible business outcomes that improve efficiency, profitability, and customer experienceEnsure of initiatives with strategic objectives and measure value creation at Group and local levelsRequirementsOur ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Mathematical Engineering, Physics, Data Science, or Computer Science.1-3 years of experience as Data Analyst within large and complex multinational organizations, in either business operations or consultingSolid understanding of data governance and tooling, security, and privacy principlesVery strong experience with building Dashboards in Power BIKnowledge of IT Cloud data architectureStrong proficiency in PythonFluent Italian (at least B2 level) and EnglishExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication and collaboration skillsStrong problem-solving skills, creativity, and determinationExcellent analytical and deductive skillsCompany ProfileGenerali Group Head Office is the guidelining unit of the Generali Group, one of the largest global insurance and asset management providers.
