Mission We are currently recruiting for Python Back-end Software Developer to join our offices in Rome, Genoa, Naples, Bari, Milan within the Digital Technology and Cybersecurity Division. This role requires strong knowledge in Python (OOP) and cloud technologies. You will be involved in developing and maintaining cloud-based solutions, with the opportunity to grow your skills in cloud architecture, DevOps practices and modern development tools. Key Accountabilities Design and Development Take ownership of the design and development of Python-based applications and backend services, ensuring code quality, maintainability, and performance. Contribute to system design discussions and support the definition of scalable and modular architectures. Develop cloud-native components, APIs, and data processing pipelines using modern frameworks and development best practices. Collaboration and Implementation Collaborate with solution architects, data engineers, and business stakeholders to translate functional and technical requirements into effective solutions. Work closely with other developers to ensure consistency across projects and adherence to coding standards. Participate in code reviews, share technical feedback, and contribute to improving team workflows and development practices. Cloud Services & Deployment Implement and manage cloud-based solutions (preferably on Azure), leveraging managed services, containers, and CI / CD automation. Support the setup and optimization of deployment pipelines and resource monitoring. Apply best practices for scalability, performance, and reliability of deployed applications. Security & Best Practices Apply secure coding principles and implement proper authentication, authorization, and data handling mechanisms. Integrate testing and quality checks within CI / CD pipelines to maintain code robustness and reliability. Ensure clean, maintainable, and well-documented code aligned with project standards. Continuous Learning & Innovation Stay up to date with emerging technologies in cloud computing, AI frameworks, and DevOps practices. Take part in internal workshops, proof-of-concepts, and innovation activities within the AI Factory ecosystem. Contribute ideas to enhance product quality, development efficiency, and overall technical excellence. Support & Maintenance Monitor and troubleshoot applications, contributing to incident resolution and root cause analysis. Assist in performance optimization, logging, and automation improvements. Support the evolution and continuous improvement of deployed software solutions. Qualifications Senior profile with 3+ years of experience Strong Knowledge of Python programming Knowledge of cloud concepts (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) – experience with Azure / AWS Knowledge with version control tools (e.g. Git) and basic knowledge of CI / CD concepts Knowledge of Docker and orchestration tools (e.g. Kubernetes) Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills Education Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s Degree in Engineering General Competencies CLIENT INTIMACY – Embrace internal and external client needs, expectations, and requirements to ensure maximum satisfaction EARN TRUST – Take everyone's opinion into
