Discover your Calling We are recruiting for a Head Sommelier position to join the team at Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco for the 2026 season. As Head Sommelier, you will create and update the wine list in coordination with chefs and the Restaurant Operations Manager, recommend food and wine pairings, advise guests on wines based on their personal tastes and food choices.Job DescriptionDeliver on the brand’s promise and provide exceptional dining experience at all times.Know LQA standards and apply them consistently; ensure staff also understand and apply them.Maintain Rosewood standards at a superior level on a daily basis.Exhibit friendly, caring, and courteous manners when dealing with guests, staff, and employees.Motivate and provide a working environment where associates are productive and work together to their strongest ability.Ensure positive communication between associates and managers to maintain high morale.Job RequirementsMinimum 3 years’ relevant experience in a sizeable luxury hotel, with at least 1 year in a similar position.Knowledge of LQA/Forbes standards.Strong written and spoken Italian and English.AIS Certificate; WSET Certificate is a plus.High level of attention to detail and refined manners with exceptional communication skills.Model the company’s culture, vision, mission and core values at all times.Identify departmental needs and actively participate in fulfilling any internal training needs that arise.Being part of Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco team means that training and development opportunities are available and, with the hotel being a key part of Rosewood’s global expansion plans, this role could be a stepping stone to exciting international career opportunities.Seniority level Mid-Senior levelEmployment type ContractJob function ManagementIndustries Hospitality#J-18808-Ljbffr
