Quantity Surveyor - Data Centre Project - Italy, Milan- 12-Month Contract Are you a Quantity Surveyor looking for your next contract role? Experienced at delivering highly efficient projects for state-of-the-art Data Centres, Pharma, Semi- Conductor infrastructures around the world, our client is a global leader in design, engineering and delivery of facilities for high tech industries. This is your chance to join an innovative, market leading data centre company as their newest Quantity Surveyor. With growth plans to almost double their already huge turnover, there could not be a better time to join Responsibilities: Validates installed quantities onsite by subcontractors to support earned value management and pay applications. Works with the project team and subcontractor to substantiate change conditions and quantities. Supports the development of estimates by performing quantity take offs from plans and models. Analyses and makes independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organisation and/or project objectives and guidelines. Supports vendor and subcontractor solicitation, pre-qualification, and coordination of pricing. Reviews subcontractor and vendor bid packages. Preparation of measures and tender documentation for a variety of Engineering type projects. Responsible for the quantification and cost management of large-scale building services within the Electrical and Mechanical systems. Involvement in bidding stage of projects Requirements: At least Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying. Minimum 3 years in handling quantity surveying/contracting in construction industry. Relevant previous experience in a quantity surveying and/or contracting environment, preferably in the Mechanical, Electrical and Process (MEP) business/industry.
