Job Description

Your responsibilities

Responsible to identify and cascade down the contractual overriding process requirements. The focus will be general process requirements involving all process disciplines. Traceability of implementation during project phase. Coordination of general process engineering interfaces of the entire plant in technical, scheduling, and qualitative aspects (gate reviews). Focus on P&ID, risk assessment and plant operating integration. Supports the timely preparation of the process engineering documentation for the execution phase (both internal and external), the operation manual and CE conformity. Coordination of technical documentation between process disciplines. Interface management of process engineering in accordance with business processes, the respective customer contracts, and the requirements from regulatory authorities. Ensures compliance with HSE requirements. HAZOP study leader / chairman. Compliance with the guidelines and regulations for plant safety. Commissioning support. Supports process engineering review during commissioning and before trial operation / Fit for Performance. Ensuring and developing HZI's technical standards and guidelines. Compliance with the HZI work methodology and guidelines (for example, Comos guidelines). Support and cooperation in Proposal Management in the corresponding areas of competence.

Qualifications

Your experiences

Masters' degree in Chemical Engineering At least 4 years of experience in comparable function in the energy, environmental technology, renewable energies, oil and gas or in similar industry Solid knowledge in process engineering, use of CAE programs, P&IDs, logic diagrams, and simulation tools (Aspen) Deep knowledge of process engineering and equipment design with background in energy sector Functional Safety Engineering Technical lead in coordination of all process activities in renewable gas projects. Good knowledge / experience in plant construction and commissioning Very good and detailed knowledge of process engineering, design of main equipment, system automation, control and operation Experience in dealing with many different suppliers and in the procurement of systems. Experience in multidisciplinary and multicultural project teams Experience in integration of technical systems Self-driven, open minded personality with attention to detail and precise working style Fluency in English
