Structure Specialist

Job Title: STRUCTURE SPECIALIST

Position purpose

The Structure Specialist will be responsible for the supervision of yacht’s structural design development (hull and superstructure blocks/main outfitting) both through the design and build stages.

Main Responsabilities:

- the supervision of the structural design compliancy with Rules (Classification Society/Flag Bodies)
- the supervision of the design subcontractor performance in terms of quality, performance, adherence to the program and consistency with the Yard Standards
- supervision of the Yacht structures onboard during the building phase

Internal Relations: All technical Areas of the Engineering Department, Purchasing Department, Production Department.

External Relations: Class and Flag surveyors, suppliers, consultants.

Reports to: Structure Supervisor

**Requirements**:

- Masters and/or Degree in Naval Architecture
- Previous professional experience in Naval Platform design and building would be a strong plus
- Experience in Design for manufacturing and assembly
- Product value analysis techniques knowledge
- Naval & Nautical design knowledge
- Expertise of product Innovation
- IT Tools advanced knowledge (excel, design and visualization software such as 3D CAD ) and familiarity with Microstation
- Good level of English both spoken and written
