Continuous Improvement Specialist

**The Role**
The Continuous Improvement (CI) Specialist, under the supervision of the CI Manager, is responsible for leading and facilitate project teams to improve critical business processes and drive financial results.

The CI Specialist must fulfill the needs of the company in a manner which is consistent with Corporate’s vision and values and spread CI Culture with training and coaching activities.
**Strategic Analysis**:
Implement the XPS (Xylem Production System) supporting business strategy and ensuring projects integration with other business activities. Develop and support methods and systems to reach the strategical goals, objectives and metrics. Support a clear action plan agreed with the functional leaders in order to drive the success thanks to a proper stakeholder analyses. CI has to promote the good results and celebrate them in order to get people engagement.
**Process Improvement & Optimization**:
Leading improvement projects within the Growth Center and effectively coordinate these projects with the CI team and other improvement project teams. Identify integration issues with other projects/processes and coordinate the improvements with the appropriate project/process owners to accomplish the project goals.
**Project Management**:
Identifying opportunities, scouting for new ideas and selecting the right projects; support the team to generate business cases and financial analyses; support project teams from a methodological point of view and teamwork attitude; leading teams to execute projects with the Lean Six Sigma problem solving methodology; tracking project status and results to achieve the annual operating plan; remove and elevate project barriers; develop team members.
**Training & Development**:
Identify potential team members into the organization. Provide training and coaching to team members to spread the base of LSS tools and increase team effectiveness. Capturing project case histories that can be re-used for other projects and submitting them as a best practices.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor in engineering (i.e. Mechanical, Industrial, System, etc.) or Business or Statistics or Mathematics or Economics;
- 2+ years of industrial/manufacturing process improvement experience (preferably in a leadership/supervisory role)
- Green Belt and/or Black Belt certification is a plus
- Good English and Italian (written/spoken)
