Intellectual Property & Technology Transfer Manager role:

- Support the Innovation and Future Technology (IFT) in Italy in stimulating and supporting the technological transfer of internal innovative initiatives towards other departments:

- Evaluating innovative proposals that can be integrated into our business for better outcomes or to create new products/services, analysing their feasibility and potential for success.
- Acting as a bridge between various departments, ensuring cohesive, cross-functional team working on innovative ideas.
- Ensuring that the identified innovation can be easily aligned with existing processes and systems.
- Measuring the success of innovative projects, ensuring they bring value to the organization.
- Creating awareness, stimulating innovation, improving innovation initiatives, facilitating development of innovation vision and strategy, helping to design processes and frameworks that encourage innovation.
- Shifting organizational culture, ensuring employees are open to new ideas and methodologies.
- Support the Group Head of IP and Technology Partnerships, leading IP Management activities in MBDA Italy such as:

- Develop IP awareness and support innovators regarding the protection of inventions.
- Manage and coordinate IP and report relevant IP information and status.
- Lead the organisation of the Italian IP protection committee and prepare the IP decisions (e.g. for patent filing together with external patent attorneys).
- Implement and update IP relevant processes, strategy and policy and contribute to MBDA Group IP initiatives (e.g. introduction and usage of IP tools, patent monitoring).
- Facilitate the definition of IP rules in technology partnerships (with SMEs, Universities,).
