Private equity funds have long been one of the most attractive investment opportunities, outperforming public market benchmarks, like the S&P 500. But these funds have also been difficult or impossible to access, especially for individuals. Onerous paperwork, high investment minimums (~€10m) and difficulty picking a fund have all been hurdles that kept individuals out. Access has always been dominated by institutions or a select few. Enter Moonfare.
Moonfare is revolutionising access to private equity using a fully digital platform that provides qualified investors access to selectively vetted top-performing funds within 15 minutes and at minimums as low as €50,000. Moonfare provides investors with innovative reporting and the potential to trade their stakes in funds using our Secondary Market. We are introducing never before seen transparency and liquidity to private equity, and with our ongoing expansion across key markets in Europe and Asia, we are enabling investors around the world to reach further.
The Moonfare team brings together individuals with a wealth of different backgrounds, from leading investment and private banks and private equity fund managers to disruptive tech startups, leading newspapers and top law firms. **Partnership Manager - Italy & Spain (M/F/d)**
**THIS ROLE CAN BE BASED IN ITALY OR SPAIN**
Moonfare has seen rapid expansion & great success to date with our B2B offering across Europe, we see Italy & Spain as the next major markets to add to our ever growing list of institutional partners. We are looking for our first Partnership Manager to solely cover Italy & Spain who will support the development of partnerships with private banks, external asset managers, multi-family offices and other institutional partners to further expand Moonfare's investor reach globally. Over the last 12 months new registrations at Moonfare have more than doubled, the team has more than doubled and we have internationalised into several countries across Europe and Asia and have just launched in the USA.
**You will**:
- Source, identify and qualify potential partners for strategic alignment and product fit
- Drive partnership discussions, act as project lead and coordinate requirements externally with the partner and internally with other functions, including the development of required technology features in collaboration with our product team
- Support the implementation of partnership agreements, including negotiation of terms and owning the execution process
- Build, maintain and nurture relationships with partners and act as a single point of contact once implementation is complete to ensure a smooth and mutually beneficial partnership
- Support the education of advisors and/or their clients on Private Equity as an asset class and on the funds available on the Moonfare platform
- Create and reviewing supporting materials for external and internal purposes (e.g. presentations for prospective partners, documenting internal processes and progress tracking)
- Gather and articulate market intelligence and investor feedback, ensuring Moonfare's offer is aligned with investors' demand
**The next Moonfarian**:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field
- Hands-on mentality and an entrepreneurial mindset
- 5+ years' experience in a B2B client-facing function in the financial services or consulting industry, working with leading PE firms or financial institutions is a plus
- A loyal network of institutional clients in Italy & Spain
- A detailed and thorough understanding of consultative sales processes and relationship building, including articulating the value proposition for complex products/services
- A self starter who able to define and rollout a strategy independently
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
- High integrity combined with a commitment to excellence
- Fluency in English, Italian & Spanish
