About the job:
The Red Hat Sales team is looking for an experienced partner sales professional to join us as a global system integrator (GSI) focused Partner Account Manager The Red Hat Sales team is looking for an experienced partner sales professional to join us as a global system integrator (GSI) focused Partner Account Manager in Milan, Italy. In this role, you will oversee sales activities across our portfolio. You'll be responsible for managing sales, customer satisfaction, and partner engagement, as well as maintaining successful relationships with assigned partners to help ensure the success of their business with Red Hat. You will also ensure that Red Hat has an optimal resource landscape in partner organizations from a segmentation, capability, and capacity perspective. As a GSI Partner Account Manager, you will also develop, implement, and manage joint business plans that identify key growth areas in the partner organization to help increase revenue and capitalize on Red Hat’s technologies Milan or Rome, Italy. In this role, you will oversee sales activities across our portfolio. You'll be responsible for managing sales, customer satisfaction, and partner engagement, as well as maintaining successful relationships with assigned partners to help ensure the success of their business with Red Hat. You will also ensure that Red Hat has an optimal resource landscape in partner organizations from a segmentation, capability, and capacity perspective. As a GSI Partner Account Manager, you will also develop, implement, and manage joint business plans that identify key growth areas in the partner organization to help increase revenue and capitalize on Red Hat’s technologies.

What you will do:

- Work with the major GSIs in the region to define account plans
- Guide account-specific white space initiatives that will transform into deals and projects
- Use existing initiatives and solution sets developed globally with these specific partners to guide pipeline generation activities
- Manage sales pipeline and forecast related to the business co-driven with the specific GSI partners
- Develop a joint engagement plan with the key GSIs in the region
- Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with the GSIs and develop specific KPIs for each GSI
- Work on adopting a vertical sales approach with the GSIs and independent software vendors (ISVs)
- Work with Red Hat’s sales associates to foster a proactive selling relationship

What you will bring:

- Previous experience working for a software or hardware vendor managing one, or more, of these specific partners - TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, HCL
- Extensive network of relationships within the GSI community
- 5+ years of experience managing GSIs in Italy
- Deep understanding of the partner ecosystem in the region
- Ability to work across multicultural teams
- Ability to work with extended sales teams across countries
- Proven record of creating new customer wins through the GSIs in strategic and enterprise account
