Material Planning

As a Materials Planning and Execution Specialist, you will be accountable for coordinating and expediting the flow of work and materials between departments according to daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules. You will coordinate with production departments, purchasing and planning to monitor the progress of work through the organization, to ensure timely execution of the production schedule. We are looking for Manufacturing Planner dedicated to some of the internal lines strongly interested to take on the challenge to drive the production control of "flow" items inside the Flow machining cell. Production Control, Medium-Term and Strategic Scheduling, Fulfillment and Engineering team as required. **Roles and Responsibilities** - Collaborate with Medium Term Planner and with internal manufacturing lines to identify criticalities and recovery plans such as material shortage status, timely transactions, Non-Conformities followup, scrap& re-work, etc. - Lead the short term plan and activities related to internal production lines - Coordinate, monitor and control Farm-out Activities with external Suppliers Overseeing cross-functional teams to resolve bottlenecks, materials shortages, machine maintenance, manpower issues and shop capacity - Monitor, analyze,and report performance metrics and production Interact with Sourcing department for criticalities management and with other functions for strategic initiatives on simplification and cost reduction - Coordinate and expedite the placement of purchase orders, delivery of material, and finished goods Schedule, expedite, and coordinate the delivery & movement of critical material, including material transfers, and conditional material releases - Perform data analysis and decision making to support department material supply to meet production schedules - Coordinate the planning of current schedules and inventory control parameters for the assigned products - Maintain accurate traceability for all records created during products manufacturing. Comply with company policy and process including but not limit in compliance, quality, production, EHS, HR & Admin, Lean etc. **Required Qualifications** - Have a Bachelor or Master’s degree in a relevant field or an experience in production control, planning or supervision - Demonstrate the ability to work in cross-functional teams in a global-matrix environment - Have the ability to work independently and be able to identify and drive process improvements - Pro-activity and accuracy in data processing - Have a good knowledge of MS Office and Enterprise Resource Planning systems - Be fluent in Italian, both oral and written **Desired Characteristics** - Show effective interpersonal and leadership skills - Strong attention to details - Display good communication skills and fluency with the English language - Display a mechanical mindset with an analytical approach to innovation - Six Sigma training or equivalent Quality Training Knowledge of value stream mapping, one-piece flow, AWO, Kaizen, 5s and other lean tools is preferred. **About Us**: With operations in over 120 countries, we provide better solutions for our customers and richer opportunities for our people.
