Energy | Advisor | Business | Development | Commercial | Rome | Public | Affairs | Lobbying **THE COMPANY** Our client is a Government body that is looking for a new colleague to join their Energy team in the trade department. **THE ROLE** You will be responsible for a variety of tasks focusing on the green transition of the Italian Energy system and you will be working on further developing the Government-to Government cooperation. As an Energy Advisor, you are expected to proactively reach out to public and private stakeholders - both abroad and in Italy. You will engage with authorities, policy makers, main operators, R&D institutions and industry associations to help develop knowledge exchange platforms (e.g. workshops, roundtables) between Italian and foreign entities. According to the specific task and objective, your activities can range from market research to stakeholder engagement, communication and event organisation. In your work, you will be equally measured on clients feedback and by internal KPIs. Main tasks and responsibilities: - Assist in planning, facilitating, and executing delegation visits by key stakeholders from the government and the local industry both abroad and Italy. Create and organize events, conferences, and roundtables in close cooperation with Trade Council colleagues. - Analyse and write reports and market analysis on policy issues in relation to trade politics and energy. - Assist in setting up and attending meetings at institutional level (Ministries, Regions, Provinces, etc.) - Support the team by obtaining and keeping an overview of relevant stakeholders and developments within the areas of interest. - Produce content for social media and public diplomacy (with the help of external partners if needed). **REQUIREMENTS** The Energy Advisor should have an international experience and a strong background from the Energy sector and preferably with a focus on Public Affairs Management. - A relevant academic education, e.g. in international studies, economics or political science; - A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant work experience from the energy sector in Public Affairs/Public relations working in Energy Utilities, Consulting Companies, Law firms specialised on Energy and with international experience; - An in-depth knowledge of the industry, regulatory framework and political landscape related to Energy Transition in Italy and Europe; - A good understanding of the development of the main renewable technologies and sources in Italy and worldwide (e.g. Onshore and Offshore Wind, PV, Electrochemical Storage, Green Hydrogen, Bio methane and Biomass, Agri-voltaics, Renewable Energy Communities, etc.); - Ability to create close relationships with companies and authorities; - A business mind-set and a high degree of professionalism and trustworthiness to ensure consistently high-quality deliverables; - You work efficiently on your own but also within a team, by listening to guidelines but being proactive in proposing improvements for the teamwork; - You are result oriented able to meet a set of local and regional KPIs; - Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Italian; - Ability to handle many relationships and projects at the same time - and good at seeing opportunities and act accordingly. **BENEFITS** - Your salary will reflect your qualifications, relevant experience and proven work-related results in accordance with the Salary Policy. - You will be entitled to 25 days of paid holiday per year. - Standard working hours are 37 hours per week. - Willingness to travel for work is required. **NEXT STEPS** Se sei interessato a questa opportunità, clicca su "Candidarsi ora" per inviare una copia aggiornate del tuo CV.
