Military Program Security Specialist

As a Military Program Security Specialist, you will be a member of the GE Avio Srl Security Organization (art.5, comma 1, lettera e) DPCM 6 Novembre 2015, n.5).
In this role, you will treat classified information and support the “Funzionario di Controllo (Registry Control Officer) of GE Avio Srl ” to ensure compliance with domestic and international security regulations (Legge 3 Agosto 2007, n. 124, DPCM 6 Novembre 2015, n.5 and related subsequent and/or related regulations).

**Essential Responsibilities**
- Draft edition or modification of inner policies, procedures and instructions adopted by Funzionario alla sicurezza (Company Security Controller) to ensure security of classified information
- Arrange letters, reports, data sets to be communicated from Funzionario alla sicurezza to National Security Controller or classified customers/contractors
- Send and receive electronic certified mail
- Update records of classified registers/archives
- Classified document/media management
- Keep records of security clearances and their validity
- Keep records of white-listed employees and contractors
- Classified visit security organization and management
- Execute investigation activities in case of classified security incidents
- Execute security inspections and controls
- Security equipment management and maintenance (e.g.: intrusion detection systems, TVCC, secure locks and doors, security keys, encryptor systems)
- Encryption/decryption operative activities

**Qualifications/Requirements**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or High School Diploma
- Previous experience in a security role
- Eligible to be security-cleared under Italian National Security Framework - NOS (art. 9, comma 4 Legge 3 agosto 2007, n. 124)
- Eligible to be approved by the National Security Authority as “Sostituto Funzionario (Alternate Security Controller)” according to art.13 DPCM 6 novembre 2015 n.5
- Fluent in Italian and English
- Work Visa in accordance with local regulation is required

**Desired Characteristics**
- University degree in security matters
- UNI 10459 security expert accreditation
- Previous experience in classified/sensitive document management
- Military/Police work experience
- Ability to work independently
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
