For a prestigious multinational group, we are looking for a/an:
**_ENGINEERING & PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER_**

This position cover the following perimeter:

- The engineering activities: mechanical, controls and fluidic, software/programming, process;
- The Product development: accompanying the products development according to the continuous improvement, the innovation strategy and the business development. A large portion of the development will be dedicated to the digitalization.
- Engineering:_
- manage the engineering department and its budget and development. This includes the engineering process and its maintenance;
- plan the engineering activities according to the workload, the priorities and the resources, guaranteeing the respect of the budgets;
- prepare the schedule, the documentation and all necessary information for the projects;
- support the team in the various phases of the activities, including the assembly and startup phases in the workshop and on-site;
- participate to the weekly project reviews and punctually on meetings with client at project manager request;
- support the Sales/proposal team when required;
- supporting, with the team, the purchasing team for any technical clarification required.
- Product development_:_
- drive the continuous improvement based on the internal and customers feedback, looking to cost effective solution (machines cost reduction) and innovative solution;
- stimulating the innovation within the engineering team, and more widely, within the company;
- manage the product development if fully internal, with possibly a close collaboration with other entities when required;
- participate to the product development if that is a joined project with other entities (driven by the innovation team, including the digital tools development).

**PROFILE & SKILLS**
- Master Degree;
- Proven experience as manager of an industrial engineering team, working in projects;
- Solid experience in machine tools or specific machines industry;
- Strong technical knowledge with a Designto-cost approach;
- Experience in digitalization and digital development;
- Capacity to work in projects and to federate a team;
- Organizational skill;
- Knowledge in MS Project or other planification tools;
- Knowledge of root cause analysis methods;
- Speaking and writing English - another language is a plus.
