EHS Specialist

As an EHS Specialist, you will act as a member of the EHS Team in the Rivalta Plant and be the EHS focal point for the assigned area and/or process. your responsabilities will include to develop, plan and execute the Environmental Health and Safety programs and policies.

**Essential Responsibilities**- Support the EHS Team to define, improve, lean, simplify, communicate and maintain site EHS program requirements and expectations
- Implement/modify related EHS programs and procedures to ensure compliance
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of existing and proposed regulations
- Modify and implement compliance tracking programs and record keeping systems
- Develop and provide education programs related to specific disciplines
- Provide and determine alternatives for issue resolution
- Ensure compliance of plant operations with regulatory requirements relating to air, solid waste, chemical, water, health and safety
-** Qualifications/Requirements**
- Degree in Engineering, preferably Chemical/Environmental/Industrial Engineering or related environment, health and safety disciplines, or High School Technical Diploma
- Previous work experience in EHS
- Knowledge of Italian EHS regulation (D.lgs. 81/2008) and EHS international standards (ISO14001 and ISO45001)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and balance multiple ongoing tasks
- Fluent Italian and good English knowledge
- Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
