**About the Team**

The team sits within the Insurance and Proposition team and works alongside the product managers to drive insight to improve product design and pricing decisions. And the claims operations team to understand claims trends and help optimise processes. We use insurance knowledge and analytical expertise to support business decisions across the wider iptiQ P&C teams.

**About the Role**

Glad you're interested. We are looking for a highly motivated analytics expert to help shape our portfolio and claims analytics team. Using sophisticated analytical techniques to drive insight in the portfolio performance and profitability.

As part of this role, you will work with the insurance product/pricing and claims teams to embed data driven decision making across the teams and support the design of easy to understand and innovative insurance products.

**Your day-to-day activities will include**
- Make informed business decisions to steer the portfolio to achieve business targets including providing the analytics for policy renewal.
- Utilize data visualization to build interactive, informative reports to help embed data driven decisions across the organization
- Work alongside the claims operations to understand claims performance and optimize processes
- Collaborate with the data team to support the development of a data structure to support future predictive modelling.
- Validate, interpret and present data results to both an expert and non-expert audience

- Be an analytics guide and the go-to person for understanding the in depth performance of the portfolio and claims in your market and for each distribution partner
- Support the growth of our analytics capability by implementing new ideas to support our business ambitions.
- Become our portfolio performance SME through in depth analysis and drive future profitability through data driven decisions.

**About You**

**This is what we will look for**:

- Solid professional experience in an analytical role, ideally within P&C insurance company including experience across various product lines
- Strong analytical skills, experience working with actuarial teams is an advantage
- Proficiency in analytical tools such as R, Python, tableau
- Self-starter who is able conceptualize and execute projects without much input
- Excellent English skills
- Experience in working in an agile organization is a plus
- Bachelors’ degree or equivalent in Math, Computer Science or equivalent
