We are looking for a **Body Quality Specialist **to join our headquarters at Sant’Agata Bolognese (BO), reporting directly to the **Head of QA Meisterbock (metrology), Body & Paintshop.**

You will be responsible for identifying and steering actions to improve control and manufacturing activities methods in order to reduce product quality defects or process inefficiency. You will participate to Quality circles/meetings to stimulate all the necessity actions /activities /analysis and solutions in the overall process (Production, but also Development of next projects) to improve product quality.

Your main activities will include:
**During Pre-Series**:

- Support Early phase specialist and Parts Quality and process preparation with Lesson Learned from previous projects, helping Bodyshop production (or Quality, in case of AUDI/VW Bodyshop), to define control standards for new projects;
- Cooperate with Meisterbock (Metrology) to develop hang-on parts matching with body; active coordination contribution to plan, prepare and to release Masterbody from Bodyshop to Meisterbock;
- Monitoring of specific KPI (Quality Index) and eventually escalation for criticalities;
- Cooperate with Planning and R&D department to develop the project from the design to the pre-series bodies (e.g. Definition RPS, tolerance chain analysis, gap&flush requirements);
- Steering activities of problem solving to achieve the Body qualification (from first proto samples to the final sampling/release);
- Advise and support the Production and Quality departments of AUDI/VW Bodyshop on the approval conditions for the Body in case of relevant quality requirements.

**During Series**:

- Ensuring daily analysis and statistics of problems emerged in the Bodyshop lines having impact on product quality (in Bodyshop itself or Paintshop or even Assembly Line)
- Sharing of informations about product defects / analysis coming from Quality Check Points/Audits or other Departments during Q circles /Q cross functional meetings aiming at reducing defects
- Ensuring production/assembly process continuous improvement and corrective actions implementation through a robust corrective actions tracking and monitoring;
- Monitoring of specific KPI (Quality Index), defined by Quality dept., to control product quality aspects and results of specific production actions to improve it. Managing eventually escalation for criticalities;
- Support the Bodyshop Quality responsible for the comprehension and the analysis of dimensional results of Bodies’ measurements, and eventual support to Laboratory for material or joint-technology problems.
- Interface with AUDI/VW Bodyshop about the analysis, problem solving and effectiveness of the countermeasures.

**About you**
- Technical or Engineering degree (Management, Mechanical)
- 2-4 years’ experience in:

- Automotive
- Quality ((Supplier Quality, Project leader, Laboratory or similar), Production (Bodyshop, Pre-series/series analysis or metrological laboratory or similar)
- Aluminum technology/assembling
- CFK technology
- Knowledge of:

- Automotive components development process
- PPAP process
- SPC (statistic process controlling)
- 3D measurement technique (e.g.: laser, tactiles,) and software for measurement as a plus
- DOE (design of experiment), FMEA (failure modality controlling) as a plus
- VW/Audi standards as a plus
- Fluent in English, German will be considered as a plus
