Our client is an international supplier with a local presence. They have 44 plants based in 17 countries and work closely with clients based all over the world.

As the world leader in metal packaging technology, the Group designs and manufactures a wide range of innovative and sustainable metal packaging solutions. Their customers are some of the world’s largest and most-respected companies.
They currently have a vacancy for a

**Supply Chain Director Italy, Greece and Turkey.**

This position will report directly to the Group Supply Chain Director.
In this role s/he is responsible to coordinate the team of the logistic managers of the plants included in the region.

Health and safety principles have always priority. Working closely with the sales teams, the Supply Chain Director will interface effectively with customers ensuring that commitments are fulfilled (on time and in full).
In coordination with the GHQ, s/he will promote and develop projects of integration and improvement on supply chain processes.

**Posizione:**:Main responsibilities:

- Ensure an effective demand forecast process as a basis for an accurate planning, procurement and logistics process
- Execute the mid
- and long-term planning to achieve lowest possible total manufacturing costs, greater manufacturing performance and customer satisfaction
- Consolidate the supply plans by respecting the Group production allocations instructions and coordinate the monthly PSI process
- Support Sourcing in operational procurement to secure flexible and timely delivery for a smooth production, monitor the performance of all producers and production partners
- Review the carbon footprint and environmental performance records of current or potential storage and distribution service providers
- Monitor supply chain indicators in comparison with the budget targets
- Lead the supply chain team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

**Requisiti:
A minimum of 10 years’ experience in manufacturing in a similar / related function will be required. S/he has experience in budgeting and preparing rolling forecasts.

S/he is customer and quality focused with strong coaching and leadership skills - always looking to develop the members of the team (currently 7 direct reports) - and can demonstrate good problem-solving, negotiation, organization and planning skills.

S/he is IT literate with real experience and good understanding of ERP systems.
