Team Overview and Job responsibilities
The NWC BU Chief Operations Officer will be responsible for the following activities:
- Direct all aspects of the day-to-day operations within the area of responsibility including manufacturing and supply chain to ensure efficiency and performance in accordance with the corporate objectives, strategy and plans (China & EU mainly).
- Oversee, monitor, and evaluate the operation's performance.
- Oversee, monitor, and evaluate the flows between different plants belonging to the Global BU.
- Direct the preparation of operating budgets and proposals for capital expenditure and investments in infrastructure, technology, equipment, systems, or other assets and resources; analyse and approve operational investments that best meet the organization's business needs.
- Oversee the opening or closing of facilities and the operational aspects of mergers and acquisitions so that these activities are completed on time and within budget and with mínimal disruption to the organization's day-to-day operations.
- Manage the current supply chain and develop new supplier and eternal manufacturers to support the enlargement of product portfolio and the growth (focus in the Americas).
- Lead, guide, evaluate, and develop a team of senior managers with operational responsibilities to ensure that the organization achieves it business objectives and complies with all relevant regulations and laws.

- +10 years in operations role with a focus on Supply Chain
- Previous experience in similar industry
