Tasks

**Main responsibilities**:

- Support customer’s needs regarding technical, ICT and scientific aspects.
- Collect information about customer experience and provide regular follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Process experimental results, perform statistical analysis, prepare, and present reports.
- Perform experimental tests with diverse cell preparations and cell models (e.g., brain slices, cultures, spheroids, organoids) on 3Brain’s measurement systems.
- Perform lab activities as for example cell culture thawing, differentiation and maintenance.
- Organization of daily research activities, managing project priorities and deadlines, identifying, and resolving instrumentation issues.
- Provide remote and on-site training and support to customers while performing experiments on 3Brain’s system.
- Support sales activities by providing technical consulting and by organizing and performing on-site or remote system demo.
- Support HW and SW R&D team in validating and testing new prototypes with biological models.
- Attend conferences, congress, and trade shows.

**Requirements**:
Required Qualifications
- Master/PhD degree in biomedical engineering / biomedical sciences / molecular biology.
- Deep knowledge of ICT and at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, C++...)
- 2+ years of laboratory experience in cell culturing or related field.
- Knowledgeable about statistical analysis tools.
- Proficient working in a Windows environment.
- Full proficiency or mother tongue in English.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to diverse audiences through both written and oral communications.
- Highly motivated self-starter and problem solver.

Additional Qualifications
- Experience with either microelectrode array (MEA), calcium imaging or patch-clamp recordings.
- Strong molecular and biochemical background.
- 1+ years of laboratory experience on cell-based assays for compound screening.
