**Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026** is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 9 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
**Position**:
Event services (EVS) is the Functional Area, within the Organizing Committee for the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Games (Olympics and Paralympics), that is in charge to plan, design and provide a safe and welcoming visit to all ticketed spectators at the official competition venues and other services to accredited stakeholders.
The EVS Operations Specialist will support the EVS Senior Operations Manager in preparing and distributing among the Team the proper operational planning tools whilst keeping track of all the operational deliverables in the EVS Master Schedule.
He/she will support with the organization of weekly meetings, minutes, documentation preparation and update of the EVS MC26 and IOC SharePoint websites.
He/she will:
- Support the Senior Ops Manager with the creation and distribution among the EVS Team of guidelines, policies and procedures related to the Event Services Functional Area;
- Create and update the EVS Issue Tracker for escalation to the Senior Ops Manager;
- Collect all Clusters’ needs in terms of resources (technology and FFEs) to coordinate numbers and find efficiencies among the different venues;
- Support with preparation of training materials and planning tools for newcomers within the EVS Operations Team;
- Support with the coordination of the EVS Operations Team meetings;
- Support with the preparation of the documentation for the procurement plan;
- Support with writing and Organizing EVS Policies and Procedures;
**Requirements**:
- Strong organizational skills and flexibility;
- Project Management mindset;
- Ability to work with tight deadlines;
- Ability to identify priorities and efficiencies;
- Detail oriented, precise, and reliable;
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is mandatory.
