**ROLE DESCRIPTION**

As the Quaity part responsible within the Silk-FAW Automotive Quality Body team you will be responsible of Quality for the Exterior and/or Interior components assigned.

As part of the Quality Body team you will play a very important role inside the Q team and between the Q Body team and the rest of the Company department. You will be part of this working group, collaborating with the various persons and leading the activities of Q in order to achieve the defined goal of our department

The individual tasks will include to:

- Is required a technical experience related the following materials: BiW body panel (Alu, still), plastic materials, Injection moulding and co-moulding technology, carbon fiber lamination, glasses, sealing.
- Part of the job will be also the perceived quality aspect, the Painting activities and color harmonization (internally and/or with external supplier)
- Q part responsible has to be responsible for the Q target during the development phase of the project; he/she must to drive the development to achieve Q target (starting from engineering, passing through the technical solution, technology, till the supplier), using KPI reporting, till the SOP of the product.
- He/she has to act the Problem solving approach for Q problem of the parts (e.g. : aesthetics defect, dimensional problem, assembly problem) and to be able to propose and put in place the optimization on the internal or at the supplier process
- Involving in warranty data and analysis of technical problems in the field
- Analysis and understanding of the technical requirements, technical drawing and tolerances

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Knowledge in materials, Q main processes
- Process like D-fmea and P-fmea, tolerance chain analysis, capability analysis, Meisterbock/cubing activities has also to be known.
- Technology like anodizing, bending and hydroforming, machining, ultrasonic/vibrating welding has to be generally known.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language, social and interpersonal skills
- Passion for the automotive industry and/or technology desirable but not essential
- Highly motivated
- Pro-active, self-organised and able to work independently
- Methodical approach with attention to detail, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
- Willing to travel and work flexible hours when required
