Ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with EL Quality Wins operating system and in accordance with other company procedures, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, and schedule commitments. Will support the local management in overseeing team development and process improvement to continually increase the effectiveness of project execution and develop local champions. **Your responsibilities**: - Leads the project team, establishes the project execution approach, and oversees project hand-over, execution planning, and monitoring and control activities for both internal and external resources in order to accomplish all project goals. - Provides performance feedback regarding allocated resources working on projects. - Ensures that the portfolio of projects is managed consistently based on EL Quality Wins Policies. - Leads and overseas the local project execution team, ensuring that EL Quality Wins processes and ABB Policies are consistently followed. - Develops, customizes, and continuously improves standard processes and work instructions by adopting ABB and external best practices. - Ensures that lessons learned from project execution are analyzed and conclusions are incorporated in continuous improvement action - Participates in the Quality Wins budgeting process, jointly with ED segment quality manager and Division CI manager - Supervises project execution and performance management through project reviews with management. - Takes an active role in resolving escalated issues. - Ensures the local projects follow EL Quality Wins methodology and execution practices. - Builds and maintains relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. - Serves as an escalation point for individual and systemic project management issues within the project execution team. - Ensures that each project is structured to fit the Quality Wins operating system, sufficiently staffed with skilled resources, and directed appropriately. - Guides, motivates, and develops direct and indirect reports within HR policies. - Oversees competency assessments and ensures that the project staff are licensed and certified appropriately. - Leads and coaches the project execution teams to achieve defined business objectives. - Drives efficiency and effectiveness and improves quality, cash flow, revenue, and profitability. - Defines organization of the project in coordination with the ED segment quality manager and ELSB CI manager, by assigning project team members to projects based on competencies, and availability. - Develops project execution capacity and capability in line with ABB policies, directives, instructions, and guidelines. - Monitors the project portfolio to ensure early identification of deteriorating execution performance. - Prevents further deterioration by providing timely support to troubled projects, identifying root causes of problems, giving guidance, coaching and where necessary, direct support to troubled projects. **Your background**: - Certifications and skills - Lean six sigma green belt or black belt certification - Quality Wins certification L2 in Quality System and Production system - Willingness to travel (> 50% working time) - Change management techniques basic knowledge **More about us**:
