This culture of caring is the focus of our corporate philosophy, that are anchored in the internationally applicable **Credo** **Regional Program Manager Waste** Reporting to the PMO regional lead, the Program Manager Waste is key actor of the EMEA MAKE region to drive continuous improvement programs through Lean Manufacturing and Johnson & Johnson Production System (JJPS) tools to set a program for minimizing waste. Scope includes SLOB, MUV (material usage variance) and SCRAP as well as the YIELD factors considered in the BOMs in all IMs across EMEA, working together with the local MEXs, science & process engineers and regional JJPS teams and aims to set the total material loss from an average of 4% to a benchmark below 1%. **Tasks & Responsibilities**: - Lead JJPS/MEX site and franchise portfolio and target setting at IMs in EMEA in alignment with the and Supply Chain EMEA vision and expectations to deliver business value towards Reliability, Agility, and Financial Competitiveness, focusing in material efficiency, ensuring that all activities are completed according to applicable regulation, and J&J policies for EHS, Quality or other relevant Compliance requirements - Coordinate all JJPS/MEX activities and/or global/regional programs to ensure a perfect execution of assigned projects within set due-dates, budget, and other relevant KPIs - Contribute to savings pipeline through identified projects - Lead regular process reviews and analysis, using lean methodologies to implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve the total material competitiveness of EMEA IMs sites - Support JJPS/MEX program through Change Management process - Develop collaboration with Site relevant functions to identify and bring improvement opportunities - Develop new tools and capabilities of all site teams as per JJPS capabilities evaluation or other J&J programs - Connect strongly with relevant stakeholders to understand business needs/urgency to improve specific areas with active participation and accountability - Bring External Benchmark by facilitating exchange of best practices across the network (Regional & Global) - Update and support data collection, tracking and reporting; including ensuring Site Performance reviews **Qualifications** **Experience**: - At least 5-10 years’ experience in the Manufacturing/Supply Chain of FMCG or Pharmaceutical or related industry - Experience outside Manufacturing such as Supply Chain, Maintenance, Planning, Lean Manufacturing, Logistics, or Sourcing would be a plus - Outstanding ‘lean attitude’ and willingness/ability to learn fast - Fluent in English, other languages desirable Required Leadership and Key Competencies - Support the creation of a trusting & collaborative work environment that positively contributes to employee engagement - Lead and motivate a cross-functional team, command the respect of peers, and influence others without direct authority - Communicate with conviction at all levels, both internally and externally - Challenge status quo, to create positive change; and promote a work environment that challenges the status quo. - Introduce JJPS in a transparent & constructive way to contribute to high-performing teams, and utilize Change Management principles to drive and sustain change - Empower people at manufacturing site to deliver the desired results - Plan, prioritize and organize complex tasks in a matrix environment Education - University Degree or equivalent in Life Sciences, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field - Lean / Six Sigma / Green Belt certification is a plus **Our offer**: - An exciting position in an international and dynamic environment with continuous learning and growth opportunities - A competitive salary, on-site sport accommodations, health/energy programs and other benefits for you and your family. - An inclusive team environment where diversity and different opinions are respected and valued, and the importance of a good work-life balance is recognized.
