**Who we're looking for**

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Credit Controller to join our finance team in Milan. This role would be ideal for someone who wants to gain experience in this role while propelling their career forward.

**What your day to day will look like**

Reporting to the Credit Control Manager, you will work as part of a wider team who are responsible for collecting outstanding debt from the company’s key credit accounts**.**
- Ensuring payments are on track to be paid within the agreed terms
- Negotiating payment plans and setting up terms and conditions
- Creating weekly debtor reports and accounts information for internal departments
- Keeping detailed records of collection activities and conversations
- Effectively dealing with customer account queries/complaints, including liaising with other departments, to ensure they are brought to a satisfactory conclusion

**What you need to succeed**

1 year + prior experience in a similar role.

Fluent in English and Italian is mandatory.

Bachelor's degree or MSc in economics or a relevant field is a plus.

Excellent customer service.

Analytical skills, accuracy, and thorough attention to detail.

Proactive and able to work independently.

Able to keep calm under pressure and a diplomatic but firm manner.

Experience working within an international fashion business would be a plus.

**What we Offer**

Type of contract: Permanent contract in accordance with the CCNL applied in the company (Terziario-Confcommercio).

Daily meal vouchers valued at 8 euros for each day worked.

Possibility of Smart Working 1 day at week.
