“Water engineer” is part of the facilities engineering team and is responsible for planning, designing and supporting the implementation of solutions for all the needs and problems of the Site's water treatment plants.

He will be responsible for:

- Discuss with production engineers to define needs;
- Discuss with process engineers from HVAC, Mechanical, UPW, WWT, Electrical, etc. to define needs;
- Design the appropriate solutions, with target of finding the best compromise between Service rendered (performance, quality,...), Resilience, Safety, Complexity to operate and Cost;
- Know the existing market solutions, and train regularly to be always updated on new solutions and technological evolutions;

The Water Engineer can play the role of chief engineer for modification and upgrade infrastructure projects or participate in facility engagement for larger projects.

The role also involves working with shared teams in the different sites and countries where ST is present.

REQUIRED PROFILE:
Graduated in Chemical Engineering / Industrial Chemistry / Chemical and Environmental technologies

Over 5 years of experience in the field of industrial water treatment

Good communication skills (written, oral, presentations) also in English;
Ability to present complex solutions with simple words.

PC Office, Autocad.

Leadership skills, management by influence, coordination of project teams

Ability to work in an international environment. Intercultural awareness.

Autonomy and empowerment, building trust. Ability to work with internal or remote teams.
