Hitachi Energy is establishing a Global /Regional IS organization to drive standardization and harmonization of solutions and to ensure delivery of high quality IS services for Hitachi Energy business units, by bringing significant focus on business value driven innovation and delivery as core competencies. The IS SAP Interface eng is a member of the IS Platform & Applications team responsible that the IS solution/service provides the required functionality and meets the cost expectations of business. He/She is reporting to the Development & Integration Manager contributes to project set-up and delivery as well as to service operations optimization.The IS Development is responsible for the overall implementation strategy and accountable for manag-ing all Developments related to REIWA interface development initiative and coordinate with part-ners resources. This role is mainly but not exclusively focused on the REIWA program. REIWA is an important IS ERP program (SAP S/4 HANA) which acts as an enabler of our ongoing trans-formation as an independent entity.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support to develop and manage the Interface development and surrounding IS applica-tions through cooperation and collaboration across IS solution architects and IS delivery units;
- Engage in requirement engineering related to interface development initiative to decide which requirements are covered by available standard functionalities, for which functional-ities enhancements are needed and for which functionalities workarounds are accepted;
- Support validation and prioritization of incoming business demand in collaboration with the relevant IS Business Analyst, IS Service Manager, IS Application Manager and/or Global IS Domain Architect;
- Be responsible for development of interface and guide partner with interface development as per REIWA/IS ERP program development standard;
- Translate the functional design into technical specifications, review and sign off the func-tional and technical use case specifications;
- Communicate the technical specifications to the developers Off Shore and coordinate the activities with external development consultant;
- Responsible for interface Development, supporting and leading project tasks;
- Identify key drivers of a defined problem and proposes solutions;
- Identify and solve problems using analysis, experience, and judgment;
- Collaborate with IT team mainly in interface development to manage maintain, develop, and deploy the best feasible and most cost efficient IS solutions/services for the business;
- Consult, give advice, and support the IT team on Interface development with new IS solu-tions/services, or the changing of existing IS solutions/services;
- Familiar working on agile development process;
- Support the Development lead/Manager and integration manager to Provides guidance to IS project management and IS delivery unit team in how to utilize FIORI applica-tion/solution standards (e.g. SAP) effectively;
- Contribute to IS Problem and IS Incident Management to fight ticket volume by detecting re-occurring defects and eliminating these when technical expertise is required;
- Proactively support issue resolution during project delivery to avoid delays or any other form of negative impact to a project or service;
- In concert with Global IS Domain Architect ensure that IS solution/service-related stand-ards are considered accordingly;
- Supply the Development & Integration Manager with relevant stakeholder information re-lated to IS solution/services on Interface development; Specially in regards of interface development when required work together with relevant stakeholders (e.g., Business Managers, IS Service Managers, other Domain IS Architects, IS Solution Architects, IS Sourcing and 3rd Party IS Suppliers) regarding their expectations, business and technical requirements, and in accordance with IS policies, IS procedures and IS guidelines;
- Coordinate a team of internal and external technical integration and development special-ist mainly dedicated to the implementation of interface;

Your background
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related discipline. Mas-ter’s degree in related discipline preferred or equivalent work experience;
- At least 7 years of experience in working with various SAP specific integration technologies (ODATA, ABAP Proxy, BAPI/RFC/IDO
