Accounting Specialist Italy

We are looking for an Accounting Specialist who will be responsible for Financial bookkeeping and support the Accounting Manager in periodical accounting closing activities. Are you motivated and interested in working in an innovative and future-oriented environment? Join our team

**Job Description**:
Main Responsibilities:
- Look after all the administrative and accounting processes (invoicing, intercompany reconciliations, month-end and year-end journals, accruals, assets bookkeeping, etc.) and support the Accounting Manager in periodical closing activities- Assist the Accounting Manager in the preparation of an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end closing, maintaining reports and files on accrued income and expenses- Provide assistance to the Accounting Manager in preparing documentation requested by External Auditors- Keep track of changes in tax, accounting and business requirements and propose changes to the accounting framework- Draw up the statutory financial statements of certain entities- Draw up mandatory reports required annually by the energy authority (ARERA - Unbundling)- Maintain accounting rules and work cross functionally to develop specific sub-processes- Support the right implementation of new tools to simplify day-by-day activities- Resolve various issues with suppliers, landowners, municipalities such as communication of the Company data changes and requests related to payments confirmation and processing- Cooperate with the team to guarantee compliance and accuracy in internal process- Collaborate with the other Finance and Technical Departments to reach overall department goals and objectives.

Key Requirements:
- Advanced knowledge of accounting and tax procedures- Good knowledge of Italian GAAP (OIC). IFRS knowledge is considered a plus- Good knowledge of Microsoft MS Excel, MS Word and MS Power Point- Attention to details- Experience in use of automated accounting systems (such as Microsoft Dynamics, Piteco or Profis)- Ability to organize work independently- Team player- Good knowledge of English

Studies and previous experience- Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or a related field- 3+ years of accounting experience
