Demand Supply Chain Planner

The challenge

What you will do

He/She will be responsible for demand planning process, collecting the business inputs from the Business Managers but challenging them to respect the forecast logics and guidelines. Follow-up supply and availability. Approach has to be to assure the market the best visibility, enabling the sales and the OTC to maximize the potential.

Main activities:

- Coordinate the collaborative Monthly Forecast, supporting the Business Managers to deploy the most accurate forecast in the respect of the process’ logics and rules;
- Control the phase in/phase out, assuring a correct flow of information between marketing and sales (PIPO management by local marketing is the pre-requisite for the process of forecasting);
- Operate the Weekly Forecast update, adjusting the forecast on the full horizon with the most updated info coming from sales / order portfolio evolution;
- Tracking the supply along the chain, from the production’s plans, to the shipments, till the arrival into the market, flowing the relevant info to support the business;
- Stay in touch daily with Central Planning to assure the alignment between central processes and local needs;
- Inform Sales and OTC in case of delays to find out solutions and alternative actions to assure the target achievements;
- Control availability, free stock and slow moving to give indications to sales to improve the quality of the stock and reduce the risk of obsolescence and slow moving;
- Distribute internal reports (availability, obsolescence, Phase in/phase out, Back Orders, OTIF, Service Levels) and push stakeholders to take actions to improve the stock quality and the service levels;
- Assure the selection and the training of the DEMAND & SUPPLY PLANNERS, assuring the right levels of competences to run the process.

What you need to succeed
- Degree in Management Engineering, Economics/Business Administration
- At least 1-2 year of proven experience in business support, commercial team, preferably within a commercial CE environment
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Tools, mainly Excel
- Proficient in English and Italian language
- Hands-on -high internal customer orientation
- Excellent analytical, planning
