Junior Demand Planning

The challenge

The Demand Planner is tasked with forecasting customer demand, using a blend of quantitative data analysis to predict sales trends and inform inventory decisions.

What you will do
- Own the business cycle for the assigned product categories, based on data analysis, consolidation and agreement with commercial, category, marketing and finance teams.
- Support and develop the process, relying on statistical model analysis of sales history and forecasting based on the agreed-upon breakdown of key accounts. Facilitate the understanding of any gaps: forecast comparison from one release to the other to provide coordinated performance reports and KPI reports.
- Ensure successful launch of new products in the BU and avoid write off for the phasing out products
- Do weekly checking’s of the stock projection together with the Supply Planners to notice any changes in demand or supply risks.
- Close collaboration with Logistics and Order to Cash departments and the dynamics between the two.
- Allocate production orders to plants by ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Monitoring stock level to avoid stock out/excess.
- Ensure accurate reporting through KPIs and Dashboards.

What you need to succeed

Educational background:
Degree in Management Engineering, Economics/Business Administration

Professional Experience:
1 to 3 years of proven experience in business support, commercial team, preferably within a commercial CE environment

Languages:
Proficient in English and Italian language

Preferred qualifications & soft skills:

- Hands-on - high internal customer orientation.
- Ability to influence people with a social and encouraging approach.
