The project:
Our Mobility team is expanding in Europe. We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager (Associate Director) to join our Aviation team on a full-time permanent basis in Rome, Italy. As Associate Project Director you will represent Mace whilst interfacing with our key clients. You will ensure the successful delivery of key assignments and defined business areas, providing strategic direction and monitoring delivery aligned with overall vision and objectives. This project will involve managing a new lounge project, circa 1300sqm, in a previously occupied space which will require demolition.

You’ll need to have:
- Recognized degree in related discipline.- Minimum 20 years professional experience in large/complex projects.- Minimum 10 years professional experience in airport projects (Experience in operational airport environment preferred).- Minimum 10 years site experience
You’ll also have- Hold a professional membership- Extensive experience in the successful delivery phase of projects and programmes in the Aviation sector.- Strong commercial and financial acumen.- Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams.- Experience of managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.- Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on- Hold a valid European passport or Right to work in Italy.
