In this role you will support the Team personnel travelling for company business reasons, guaranteeing compliance with SAT travel policies and budget available and ensuring that the whole Logistics team works in the smoothest and most efficient way possible You will also be responsible for setting up strategies, policies and actions to be agreed with Head of Sporting direction, to improve and update the travel arrangements activities and policies.

**Logistics Team Management**:
Provide guidance and coordination to the Logistic team;
Supervision of the travel arrangements activities: bookings for flights, hotels, and ground transport, as well as VISA arrangement passport renewal etc..;
Oversee the production of accurate itinerary documents for circulation to all travellers.

**Event attendance**:
Support Team travellers during events as required.

**Scouting & Negotiation**:
Negotiate contracts/tariffs with travel suppliers, accommodation suppliers, etc.. to provide the Team with the best stay at the most efficient costs;
Perform worldwide venue scouting when needed, based on the race calendar changes.

**Cooperation**:
Work with the Head of Sporting Direction to develop the most efficient travel policies, based on the company needs and the regulation changes;
Collaborate with the Race Logistic Coordinator and the Transport manager to optimise colleagues travels and material transportation during race and test events;
Develop and maintain good relationships with relevant suppliers and key technical partners

Investigate new strategies, tools, actions, to improve the service offered by the Logistic team to the Company.

Provide flexible attendance and attitude to work, both in line with the requirements of the role and any specific requirements of the projects;
Working in a professional manner at all times regardless of the task set and be pro-active in promoting a positive image for the department / Team / sponsors.

**Your areas of knowledge and expertise**:

- Proven extensive experience in the travel and hotel industry
- Experience in managing a team
- Ability to delegate and take responsibility for other personnel, whilst maintaining own operational role
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Competent with Microsoft Office / Excel
- Understanding of different cultures
- Strong customer focus and attention to detail
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
