In this vital role you will report to HR Director and will:
- Implement and ensures a clear and shared understanding of HR procedures/policies;
- Understands key business processes to ensure that HR initiatives add value to Amgen's local and regional business objectives;
- Build and maintains knowledge of Amgen's products, therapeutic areas, markets and business/financial model;
- Manage Works Council relationships on a proactive basis, with a business-oriented approach to joint HR-Management-staff planning;
- Support performance management processes, working with sales management to support sales force effectiveness;
- Develop supervisors to improve their management skills to own Amgen's human capital development for their department/function;
- Monitor and ensures compliance with local labor laws: monitors local regulations, reviews labor contracts, implements status changes;
- Conduct annual competitive benchmarking analysis and other HR reports for the site;
- Develop and administers local rewards programs based on company compensation philosophy, business objectives, and international programs;
- Manage hiring processes in collaboration with line management.
