Eurodrone Certification Leader

**Job Description Summary**: The Eurodrone Certification Leader will lead GE Avio Eurodrone certification team (test plan owners, model engineers, AW/CVE engineers) towards timely achievement of Eurodrone Type Certificate with Civil and Military Authorities, will coordinate the effort of certification team and design teams to achieve product certification and will interact with certifying agencies. **Essential Responsibilities** - Be a liaison (in collaboration with AW&S section) between the Design Organization and the Authorities' Certification Team - Propose and agree with the Authorities the "Type-Certification Basis" and the method for demonstrating the compliance (Means of Compliance) - Lead the Certification Program (CP) definition by issuing the relevant documents. Co-ordinate with the Authorities about all necessary actions for fulfilling the completion of the CP. Manage the "Compliance Check-List" - Make regular reporting to the Regulatory Authorities about the progress of the certification and announcement of scheduled tests in due time - Agree with the Authorities about the inspections on the prototype test articles, on the certification tests expected by the CP and on the related methods of execution - A job at this level requires a people leader with ability to hire manage and develop talent. Includes direct people management responsibility including staffing and performance development. Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy. - Manage the certification team as well as assure timely input from design organizations **Qualifications/Requirements** - This role requires advanced experience in the Engineering/Technology & Technical Regulations and Standards. - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college - Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, and execute programs. Established project management skills. - Eligible to obtain italian governmet security clearences (DPCM 6 giugno 2015, n.5) - EU working permit required.
