THE FP&A MANAGER AND FINANCIAL BUSINESS PARTNER

The FP&A Manager and Financial Business Partner plays a critical role in driving financial performance by delivering accurate forecasting, insightful analysis, and strategic recommendations to support key business decisions. This role acts as a liaison between finance and operational teams, ensuring alignment of financial goals with business objectives.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes- Produce accurate and timely monthly management P&L reports- Analyze monthly financial results and key performance indicators- Develop business models to support strategic initiatives- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve financial transparency- Act as a key financial partner to department heads, providing financial guidance, challenge, and support- Identify risks and opportunities relative to budget/forecast and recommend corrective actions.- Support M&A, investments, or cost-saving projects as needed- Identify automation opportunities and lead process improvement initiatives to improve forecasting accuracy and cycle time
PREPARATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master's or CPA/CMA a plus)- 5+ years of experience in FP&A or financial business partnering- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills- Advanced Excel and financial systems proficiency (e.g., SAP, Netsuite, Power BI)- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities- Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Normal office working conditions including frequent sitting, standing, bending, twisting and computer monitor use. Occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.
