About the team
The Services EMEA South Delivery Excellence Team oversees many countries across the Mediterranean plus the whole of Africa and the Middle East. Together with our global and market unit stakeholders, our main goal is to consistently meet our customer and internal commitments by ensuring we operate a fully aligned end-to-end delivery framework across all engagements and uniformly across all geographies.

**Key activities are**:
Streamlining and simplifying delivery excellence processes and tools across all market units.
Providing strong governance with the right cadence in place driving stakeholder alignment and support.
Identifying and providing transparency, early detection, intervention and remediation of delivery issues.
Visibility of the overall delivery portfolio health.
Clear understanding of critical project cases.
Keeping a healthy project portfolio, monitoring margin, contribution and revenue data and pre-empting any deterioration and managing the impact of adverse events.
Increasing and securing forecast quality and predictability.

What you’ll do

**Location**: partly onsite in Vimercate (Italy), partly remote.

**Expected start date**: 1st or 16th of the month

**Duration**: 6 months +

In this role, you’ll
Have the unique opportunity to work in a lively multinational environment, which enables and values growth.
Learn about the company’s top priorities, global tools and standards for executing Services Delivery within a software company, while developing a wide network across the region and beyond.
Learn about project management, project execution and strategic KPIs which drive transparency & performance management for implementing projects and project portfolio management.
Champion alignment to global standards being delivered under various SAP global programs and facilitate the customization, testing, enablement & adoption of these programs, changes and/or tools in line with EMEA South strategy.
Have the opportunity to contribute to driving standardization and harmonization of processes and tools across market units in EMEA South.
Manage the development of the Delivery Excellence team’s portal page.
Liaise, network and collaborate with colleagues around the world.
The internship is supported with a monthly reimbursement.

Who you are
We’re looking for a driven individual, who is comfortable in taking initiatives and seeing them through, who perseveres and stays curious. You like to work in an international team, are comfortable with both in-person interaction and remote work, and keen on participating to meaningful innovative projects. You are a quick learner and are energized by lifelong learning.
Student (f/m/d) at a university of applied sciences, Computer Science, Engineering, Informatics, Mathematics, Physics, Finance, Economy etc. Other backgrounds can also be considered.

**Language skills**: Good spoken and written English as a must, Italian is a major plus and other languages will be appreciated (especially Arabic, Spanish, French).

**Soft skills**: Team player with good communication skills, able to multi-task when required, having organizational and time management skills, creative with an appetite to learn fast and a can-do attitude.

**Computer skills**: MS Office 365 user skills required: Note - Excel & PowerPoint is a must
VBA programming /macro development in Excel is a plus
Portal (web page) development knowledge is a plus
SharePoint, MURAL, Zoom and Video editing basic skills nice to have.
