Are you ready to lead by example, act as a role model, motivate and inspire others? Then you might be our new Head of SER in Application Engineering (South European Region) in Danfoss Power Solutions Segment.

You will drive a change towards a new way of working and create a growth culture in the organization. You will lead a group of approx. 15 Engineers, where you will have 1 manager and 6 Application engineers in direct report. We now have merged our new organization with the former Eaton employees, change management will be a key skill to ensure us becoming best-in-class in securing customer focused innovative thinking by establishing the right inspiration and cooperation methods.

**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Setting objectives and targets for the team including making priority decisions, when needed.
- Be the representative for Application Engineering towards the Sales organization in the region.
- Participate in Sales & Customer meetings and relevant meeting with external partners, and internal business units.
- Train, develop and motivate subordinates and their skills to achieve professional goals and accomplishments. Provide on-going feedback on personnel performance and review performance to established goals.
- Ensure a continuous improvement mindset within the team while developing and maintaining group performance measures (KPI), budget, and work direction. Keep standard operating procedures and process relevant and up to date to ensure delivery per applicable Standards.
- Experience and wiliness to work in a matrix organization is a must.

**Background & Skills**:
You hold a** **bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Business or equivalent. You have about 10 years’ work experience in a product engineering industry or similar field combined with +5 years’ experience from another manager role.

You know how to build a high performing team and motivate them allowing them freedom under responsibility. It is essential that you know how to summarize complicated technical situations into easily understood business actions.

**Personally**: You are an experienced leader who can handle stakeholders at all levels. You have the drive that it takes, are eager to challenge and can embrace the ongoing changes that we meet every day.

You are known for your open-mind and communicative approach. This enables you to build relations and cooperate across cultures and geography. You see the bigger picture and at the same time, you can transfer it into a structured way of working, which permits you to come up with the right solutions, and you are willing to make the necessary decisions.

You define yourself as energetic, creative, and self-driven with high motivation to gain results and solve complex issues under time pressure. You should thrive working with different cultures, mindsets, backgrounds and in a fast-paced matrix environment.
