**Portfolio Management Officer - PMO**
**The work environment**
The role is part of a nice and friendly international team (distributed in the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland and Italy) mainly focused on Portfolio Management, Budgeting&Forecasting, Demand&Capacity Management, Quality Management and various governance activities. The focus of the function is to provide effective transversal support services to delivery centers, also to act as bridge with Global corporate functions; this enable a significant interaction with multiple and diverse parties across the company that makes the job rich and dynamic. The position is reporting to a team manager based in Italy, Milan.
**What will be your job?**:
- Manage Project Portfolio Management and related reporting to upper management, co-working and interacting with Project Portfolio Manager, Project Managers located all over Europe, dealing with both internal and external client projects
- Contribute to the on-going implementation and fine-tuning of the corporate Project&Portfolio Management tool, Planview
- Coordinate Project Prioritization Board process steered by Division Managers to optimize allocation of resources on projects
- Contribute to financial forecasting on revenues and operating margin in cooperation with Business managers, Finance and Sales
- Play PMO role in supporting and coordinating specific projects and task forces
Continuously improve processes, tools and related documentation
**What do you have to offer?**
- A Bachelor and/or Master degree in business studies (preferred economic and engineering background)
- 1 to 3 years’ experience as PMO or Project Portfolio Manager
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Powerpoint
- Great communication skills; you know how to communicate with managers and people on the shop floor beside relevant capabilities to present and administrate meetings
- Written and oral proficiency in English
- You are pragmatic, analytical and structured, strongly result-oriented and also flexible to cope with a dynamic environment
- Not afraid but excited by challenging assignments with international exposure
- You show persistence and perseverance
- Solid willpower and capability to learn quickly
- Nice to have Project Portfolio Management and/or ITIL certification
- Knowledge of financial rules and setup of professional reporting are considered a plus
