Fraunhofer Italia with headquarters in Bolzano (Italy) is hiring a new member for its research group „Machine Intelligence Development“ within the department „Robotics & Intelligent Systems Engineering“. This group focuses on the development of AI-based solutions mainly (but not limited to) applied to automation technology involving intelligent robots and systems. **Requirements**: - You have a M.Sc. degree in mathematics, statistics, machine learning engineering, computer science or similar. - You work independently, systematically and have a high degree of commitment, creativity and team spirit. - You have work experience (> 1 year) as data-scientist (applied or research) and in particular ML-based technologies. - You have strong programming skills in Python with hands-on experience with Machine Learning frameworks e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, and classical “data-science” libraries e.g., Pandas, Numpy, Scipy, Seaborn. - You have knowledge of DevOps practices (at least basic). - You speak either Italian or German and have proficiency in English.
