WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE?

The role is based in our **Finance Shared Service Center** in Milan and will manage the general account operation for different markets organization all around the world, working in an extraordinary international environment.
You will perform compliant **General ledge**r processes and consistent and correct financial bookings in the area of month end closing, year end closing, Fixed assets, General Ledger Master data, Intercompany, tax and maintain adequate ledgers (Balances, Profit and Loss and Reclassified Profit and Loss).
You will review & keep balance sheet up to date and post accurate accruals, prepayments and provisions.
You will be in charge to identify and drive GL process and service level improvements using continuous improvement tools and best suited technologies.
You will be a sparring partner for the Finance Business Partners by linking business decisions to accounting processes and by delivering and improving agreed General Ledger services to the entities in scope.
You will be responsible to grant compliance by executing Internal Control and ensuring consistent filing as well as answering to requests from internal & external auditors.

WHAT YOU NEED IS:

- Bachelor or master’s degree in business, Finance or similar or equivalent finance qualification
- **Evidence of acting as business partner through influencing finance & non-finance stakeholders and successfully communicate with them**:

- English written & verbal communication skills
- Expertise in MS office suite, especially MS Excel
- Knowledge of IFRS standards
