Eli Lilly Italia is looking for an enthusiastic, solid professional to join its Laboratory Team in Sesto Fiorentino, as part of the manufacturing population. The Sr Manager - QC Laboratory Support plays a central role in the overall safety and quality of the laboratory and is responsible for managing equipments and projects across 3 Labs (Biological, Chemical and Device). The Laboratory Manager is also responsible for providing proactive support in improving the organizational lab capabilities and processes. He/she is also a reference point of contact for the Lab network and other Global Parenteral Team.

Main Responsibilities:

- Leader of a team that manages equipments and projects across 3 Labs (Bio, Chem and Device)
- Responsible to develop and manage appropriately a team of about 10 people
- Supervises consultants and service providers
- Manages CAPEX and expenses for Lab Equipment management
- Owner of data integrity road map collaborating with QA, MICS and lab PTL
- Member of the lab FT and extended member of Engineering technical team
- Reference point for lab for automation and implementation of new global systems (or new releases)
- Approves Deviations in his area of competency
- Direct interaction with inspectors during audits
- System owner of lab computer systems
- Creates and establishes network with different parenteral sites to benchmark and align on best practices

- QA (especially in areas Data integrity and FUME)
- Parenteral Global Network
- Engineering Team
- External suppliers and consultants
- Procurement, Finance and HSE functions

Required Qualifications:

- Master's Degree in scientific fields (Chemical, CTF, Engineering)
- Good knowledge of English & computer systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Project management capability
- Strong leadership skills
- Problem solving and decision-making mind set
- Continuous improvement mindset
