Our customer is an aerospace business company which operates in the design, manufacturing, and maintenance of civil and military aeronautics subsystems and systems. We are looking for a **Buyer**, listed in the _Categorie Protette legge 68/99._

**Posizione**:
In this role you will also meet day-to-day short term objective and resolve issues of moderate complexity through immediate action or short-term planning.

The role also include working with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Global Supply Chain, Quality, Legal and Compliance) to develop the cost, product and supply chain performance to the highest standards.

**Responsibilities**:
Under supervision of his/her manager, and working closely within the Supply Chain teams and colleagues from other divisions the Sourcing specialist will:

- Manage the sourcing process, from evaluation of requestor’s requirements to PO placement;
- Be responsible for best efficiency for procured goods and services, balanced against optimum quality and schedule needs;
- Evaluate current requirements, determine potential sources, prepare tenders
- Solicit and evaluate proposals;
- Negotiate PO and/or purchase contracts, following applicable company and government regulations;
- Balance both tactical execution with strategic initiatives necessary to drive cost reduction projects;
- Coordinate procurement of assigned commodities to meet the requirements;
In doing so, it will be mandatory for you to maintain the highest level of integrity and ethics in all dealings with supply base and internal customers.

**Requisiti**:
Fluent in Italian
- Basic English and French
- High School Diploma with a minimum 18 months of experience in support to Supply Chain/Sourcing environment
- Proven cost savings procurement actions
- Proven analytical and problem solving skills, with sound judgment and a diplomatic attitude
- Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form
- Ability to handle several activities simultaneously, manage multiple priorities and resolve

appropriately
- Professional working knowledge of SAP MRP software system
- Proficient in MS Office (e.g. Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Highly motivated team member
- Proactivity, Customer orientation, initiative, autonomy
- EU work permit
