In this role you will be responsible to build pricing intelligence to drive positioning and value-based pricing. You will also have to make recommendations to strengthen our differentiation and put in place pricing strategies to maximize profit and growth for the IEC LV motors division. Also establish a pricing infrastructure to deliver measurable results.
**This position reports to**:
Division Portfolio Manager, MOIM
**Your responsibilities**:
- Drives the implementation of processes and tools to collect market prices and price elasticity for different channels, market segments and ABB offerings around the globe.
- Creates a pricing vision and strategy for the division.
- Derives the roadmap to drive towards the vision.
- Formulates requirements for future pricing tools and processes and supports implementation.
- Analyzes and interprets the collected data to make recommendations to product management regarding pricing and positioning to support the overall strategy and drive profit.
**Your background**:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in marketing or in a related discipline. Pricing certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in pricing, sales, product management or marketing.
- Structured way of working and outside-in thinking
- Ability to develop a strong international network within the organization and collaborate with key stakeholders
- Good knowledge of LV motors markets and customer needs is an advantage.
