**The Role**:
This role will perform a variety of administrative support duties for payroll related work. Should have an affinity for numbers and a passion for promoting business operations. Should be able to identify and correct payroll related errors before these affect the payroll run. The role demands confidentiality, integrity, and a commitment to customer and employee service.
**Responsibilities**:
- Computes and processes multiple pay cycle payrolls accurately included year-end tax return and in a timely manner in accordance with the Labor law and maintains all related records.
- Completes payroll & Social insurance and responds to payroll-related inquiries from relevant government and/or regulatory agencies
- Sets up and reconciles voluntary payroll deductions, prepares reports, identifies and researches exceptions, and remits payments
- Assistance Processes garnishments including child supports, tax levies, student loans, etc.
- Assists the team with messaging, writing, editing, researching and related support for external and internal communications.
- Maintains payroll related files and records included social insurance and severance pay
- Maintains records and prepares disbursement requests.
- Uses specialized computer software and input all required data related payroll timely
- Assist with all activities necessary to processing payroll, including maintaining related records.
- Assist resolve any discrepancies surrounding payroll issues with urgency
- Other duties as assigned
**Relevant Experience and Qualifications**:
- Two-year junior college graduates or Bachelor’s degree in related area between one year and two (2) years of related experience/training.
- Ability to learn and utilize payroll entry and software
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word & Outlook), Excel (formulas and standardizing data)
- Ability to maintain focus and practice agility in prioritizing daily workload
- Ability to deal with sensitive with confidential information
- Ability to understand and follow standard operating policies and procedures.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary.
- Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude.
- Native Korean language expertise and English conversational expertise.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and an effective team player.
